Post-Doc at ICMC
The Graduate
Program
in Mathematics at
ICMC-USP has great
diversity and
quality of
research groups in
Mathematics (see
also all advisors
list). For
this Summer
(January and
Fabruary, 2014),
we invite all
young researchers
to spend a
postdoctoral
period at ICMC. In
addition to
developing
research, young
researchers are
invited to offer
short courses in
their research
line. The
ICMC's graduate
program will
provide financial
assistance
(including
transport costs)
during the whole
period of stay of
the selected
candidates. The
minimum period of
postdoctoral
training is 3
weeks.
We understand that priority will be given to applicants with excellent curriculum and plan of offering a short course to research groups at ICMC with involvement of graduate students.
Applicants should register by sending an e-mail to verao@icmc.usp.br attaching the following basic data until September 30th, 2013:
1. Name and affiliation;
2. The ICMC's researcher name with which to colaborate;
3. The period during summer sojourn at ICMC;
4. Attach CV;
5. Attach a plan offering a short course at ICMC (optional).
Long post-doc opportunities: to enjoy between 1-to-4-year(s) post-doc position, you may contact with one of our researchers and apply for FAPESP and CNPq fellowships.
